Corrinne Whitehouse

Corinne Whitehouse is a documentary photographer working primarily with analogue photography. She focuses on recording contemporary society with the aim of contributing to a social history of our time. Whitehouse’s current project, Lost, explores our relationship to the environment looking particularly at how i-generation children are losing their connection with nature. It comprises large format, paper-negative, contact prints of apocalyptic landscapes where Whitehouse grew up, and portraits of her children - growing up in the same rural environment, but in a very different cultural landscape.
