Seven days of my eating disorder
Naomi Lofkin’s practice navigates both social and personal issues through portraiture, documentary, and autobiographical photography. Lofkin’s project, Seven days of my Eating Disorder, explores the relationship between negative thoughts and control. Over seven days, she recorded thoughts that disrupted day-to-day situations, showing the lack of control she felt. Expressing emotion through the movement of image and the use of text, Lofkin hopes to encourage the audience to help others facing the effects of an eating disorder.
